Speaking Phrases Boricua: A Collection of Wisdoms and Sayings From Puerto Rico is the second humorous guide to Puerto Rican Spanish by the same author. This book includes hundreds of Puerto Rican sayings such as con ojos de vaca cagona (with eyes of a sh*tting cow), estar mas perdido que un juey bizco (more lost than a cross-eyed crab), buscar las cinco patas al gato (look for the cat's fifth paw), and mas contento que un perro con dos rabos (happier than a dog with two tails) which are translated and, when possible, include an English equivalent. Cartoon photos illustrate some of the sayings and literal translations (ex. whiter than a nun's butt cheeks).
